In remembrance of the events of 9/11, Darby shared the concert stage with country music notables Rodney Atkins and Darryl Worley. The backdrop for this performance was the high banked walls of the Atlanta Motor Speedway, one of NASCAR’s premiere racetracks.

Darby was honored to sing “God Bless America” during the seventh inning stretch of World Series Game 3 on October 28. In an article from dvidshub.net Darby explains how much the opportunity meant to him:

“A member of the Texas Army National since 2000, Ledbetter jokingly feels he can now check one item off of his bucket list.

“I was humbled to receive the opportunity to sing at the World Series knowing there are so many great performers out there,” said Ledbetter. “Being on that field was so surreal and an honor to stand in the uniform representing the soldiers, the National Guard and the United States.”

Darby performed with Aaron Tippin, the “hardest working man in Country Music,” on Saturday, November 13 at The Mill at Lebanon.

Darby and Aaron Tippin were joined on stage by newcomer Nathan Young.

“Aaron puts on a high-energy show, and we are pleased to be able to have him here to perform for his friends and neighbors in the region,” said Caleb Brock, President of Vision Music. “We could not be more excited.”

Tippin is well-known for a number of country hits including “You’ve Got to Stand for Something,” “There Ain’t Nothing Wrong with the Radio” and “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Flies.”

WANT “Real Country” FM 98.9 joined The Mill at Lebanon as sponsors for the event.
